Easily eliminated obstacles – how to report a problem
Do you find it hard to find your way or move around with a wheelchair or walker in public places or buildings open to the public? If the obstacle is easy to remove, you can report it as an easily eliminated obstacle.
What to do:
- Contact the property owner or the person responsible for the place. Describe what the obstacle is and explain how it makes it difficult to move or find your way.
- Wait for action.
If nothing happens and the obstacle remains, you can report it to the city planning department.
How to report an obstacle
- Describe what the obstacle is.
- Write where it is, the street address.
- Attach a photo if possible, to show the problem.
Send your report to:
Email: stadsbyggnadskontoret@stockholm.se
When the city planning department receives your report, they assess whether the obstacle is easy to remove. They consider what is practically possible and what it would cost.
