Traffic regulations
As more of us compete for the traffic space available on streets, footways and cycleways, it is essential that we show consideration for one another.
We are all part of the traffic – pedestrians and cyclists as well as moped, motorbike, car and other vehicle users. There are common traffic regulations that we all have to comply with. Travelling in traffic requires that we follow the traffic regulations and that we co-operate with each other in traffic environments, regardless of transport mode.
By remaining aware of our fellow road users and showing consideration in traffic, we all contribute to a safe and efficient traffic environment.
Local traffic regulations
